We'd made friends with several households in that borrow-a-cup-of-sugar kind of way. Warren, the guy who lived with his girlfriend of twenty years, saw me in the garage and stopped by with a cold one to share. All of a sudden he blurts out, "So, which one are you?" I drained my beer and thought for a moment. "I guess I'm the lesbian because I have all the power tools.” |
